Research Interests

Our group focuses on the development of photofunctional organic materials based on p-conjugate systems that shows photoluminescence including strong solid-state emission, stimuli-responsive emission, and circularly polarized luminescence (CPL). We also dedicate effort to the development of small organic molecules having excellent photofucntionalities suitable for medical applications such as optical imaging, photodynamic therapy, and theranostics, which combines the therapeutic and diagnostic imaging medical techniques.
