Research Interests

Optical waves strongly interact with materials. There are various interaction phenomena depending on the material properties, wavelength regions, and their combinations. We can apply the interactions to various technologies in the fields of synthesis and analysis of materials, structuring and measurements of objectives and so on. In our section, we focus on the optical structuring and measuring technology developments. We aim to create that novel optical system which reveals interesting and useful phenomena in materials and innovative approach that produces functional structures in the future.
