Research Interests

In order to realize a highly realistic and human-friendly image display technology, it is necessary to clarify the characteristics of human vision, in addition to research on display technology. Specifically, we are focusing on research to realize a more stable and natural sense of depth at low cost, by motion parallax and pictorial depth cues in addition to the binocular disparity. Using subjective evaluations such as fatigue and discomfort, and objective evaluation such as eye movement measurement, we are also conducting research to quantify the comfort of 3D images and the biological effects of 3D images.
In recent years, we have been working on aerial display technology for more stable interaction of seeing and manipulating.
