Research Interests
Dental caries is globally prevalent. Resin composite, a hybrid biomaterial, excels in esthetics and physical properties for restorative treatment, but reliable tooth adhesion is vital. Enhanced adhesion between teeth and resin composite could create a fortified ‘super-tooth’ interface. However, its mechanics and durability remain enigmatic. Combining biocompatible dental adhesion with photonics aims to uncover these intricacies, fostering dental innovation. Our mission: Minimally invasive adhesive therapies for geriatric oral health, reducing significant economic costs of dental issues, while advancing revolutionary treatment methods in dentistry.
